Fort Technologies is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Delhi, Kolkata, or Mumbai. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a versatile generalist with expertise spanning development and operations. Your responsibilities will include infrastructure management, system administration, automation, release management, coding, and proficiency with various DevOps tools. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for fostering collaboration across siloed teams. You will proactively contribute to discussions, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Minimum 5 years experience:

• Design and maintain highly available and scalable development and production environments, with a focus on cost optimization.
• Demonstrate solid experience with core AWS components including EC2, VPC, S3, Load Balancers, IAM, Cognito, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and Systems Manager.
• Deploy and manage AWS database services such as RDS, MongoDB Atlas, and Kafka.
• Possess strong, hands-on knowledge of Kafka, with the ability to debug and optimize application performance using Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda deployment and maintenance, including automated serverless application deployment, is a significant plus.

Continuous Delivery:

• Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for diverse environments.
• Exhibit working knowledge of build processes and tools like Maven.

Linux Systems:

• Proficiency in setup, configuration, general maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Provide recommendations for best practices in OS/Kernel configuration, security policies, and performance tuning.
• Utilize Python and Bash for systems management automation.

Containerization:

• Possess a strong understanding of virtualization concepts and Docker.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with AWS ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
• Implement auto-scaling solutions for EC2 instances and Docker containers, developing custom solutions as needed.

Monitoring and Automation:

• Identify and automate the monitoring of critical environment metrics using Python or Go.
• Automate AWS and other deployment tasks using CloudFormation or Terraform to ensure standardized service deployment.

Logging (Good to have):

• Experience with the setup and configuration of open-source logging tools such as K
