DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

OWOW is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Delhi, India. This role is pivotal in building, automating, and maintaining our robust cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless and reliable deployments, scalable systems, and high platform availability. This position demands extensive hands-on experience with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and comprehensive monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on leading platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Automate routine operational and deployment tasks to significantly enhance team efficiency.
• Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and overall reliability.
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, preferably using Terraform.
• Manage containerized applications and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer and monitor Linux-based operating systems, including configuration management.
• Integrate and manage logging and monitoring solutions, including the ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Participate actively in incident management processes and provide on-call support as necessary.
• Ensure all infrastructure practices adhere to stringent security and compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Approximately 1-4 years of dedicated experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with either AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong, practical understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Argo CD.
• Experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools, with a preference for Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with key monitoring and logging tools such as the ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• A foundational understanding of incident management and production support procedures.
