Devops Engineer

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. If you have a passion for working on production infrastructure, this role is for you. Our DevOps team is responsible for managing R&D platforms built on containers and micro-services. Your primary responsibilities will include enhancing our production infrastructure, developing advanced build processes, implementing automation methodologies, and creating essential tools, all while collaborating closely with our R&D teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Elevate our CI/CD pipelines to the next level.
• Develop and troubleshoot on top of Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize highly scaled production environments hosted on AWS.
• Enhance our cloud-native Terraform modules, research emerging technologies, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Plan and execute the closure of automation backlog items.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding testing strategies and designs.
• Propose improvements to the testing process to reduce production defects.
• Collaborate closely with R&D teams within an Agile framework.

What You'll Bring:

• 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is essential.
• Proficiency with AWS as a cloud provider.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, best practices, and methodologies including Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, team leadership, and test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or Github Actions.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, Docker, and both relational and non-relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills for documentation and inter-group collaboration.
• The ability to independently explore, initiate new ideas, think critically, and learn continuously.
