DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to contribute to our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess robust hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration. You will play a key role in collaborating with development and operations teams to optimize deployment efficiency, enhance system reliability, and strengthen security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, SQS, SNS, Cognito, and Lambda.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups.
• Automate AWS operations using AWS CLI, SDKs, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) or AWS ECS.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with Amazon CloudWatch and manage logging/auditing via CloudTrail.
• Establish backup and recovery strategies leveraging S3 and Glacier.
• Manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to enforce stringent access control.
• Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Utilize Ansible and Argo CD for configuration management and continuous deployment workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives, improve deployment efficiency, and ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure automation.
• Proficient understanding of CI/CD principles, Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, and Shell scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
