DevOps Engineer

eJAmerica is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on automation and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud, leveraging tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will be instrumental in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub, deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, and supporting database deployments with Azure SQL and SQL. A key aspect of this role involves implementing and championing DevOps best practices in automation, monitoring, and security. You will also manage and support data solutions utilizing Watsonx.data and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure challenges. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams within Agile frameworks. Required skills include 7+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud, expertise in Terraform, familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), good knowledge of SQL and Azure SQL, and experience with Watsonx.data. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are essential. A background in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud security best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies are highly desirable.
