DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

Netcracker Technology is seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is integral to our mission of helping service providers transform and thrive in the digital economy. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, managing essential system administration tasks, and continuously improving our Continuous Integration (CI) processes.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to champion software development initiatives and ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our Linux-based systems and production environment. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and stability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Manage system administration tasks for Linux environments.
• Enhance and maintain Continuous Integration pipelines.
• Support software development initiatives through collaboration.
• Ensure the efficiency and reliability of the production environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and associated tools.
• Experience with Software Development lifecycles and Continuous Integration workflows.
• Strong System Administration skills, particularly with Linux systems.
• Excellent collaboration abilities within multi-disciplinary teams.
• A commitment to adopting and promoting best practices in DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of security best practices and effective troubleshooting techniques.
