DevOPS Engineer

Eurofins is actively implementing advanced cloud and DevOps practices to accelerate process deployment across its laboratories, with a focus on the Information Systems (EurIS) group, including the vital ComLIMS and ADMS programs. This role is crucial for supporting the DevOps activities within the ComLIMS program, encompassing the entire application lifecycle, cloud migration, and modernization initiatives.

Position and Objectives

The successful candidate will join a DevOps team of two members based in India. Responsibilities include managing the application lifecycle, configuration, and build/release processes for ComLIMS applications. This role offers an opportunity to become a cloud DevOps practitioner, collaborating with the Cloud Engineering team and program architects. Key tasks involve developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code, assisting with Azure deployment plans, and fostering collaboration between Development and Operations teams.

The candidate is expected to contribute to DevOps backlog tasks, guide team members in adopting new working methods, support application lifecycle and operational tasks, and maintain technical documentation and DevOps guidelines. This position also involves acting as part of the ComLIMS L3 Support Team, providing periodical and emergency support, and offering operational assistance to scrum teams. Continuous learning and knowledge sharing regarding the EurIS suite, particularly ComLIMS, are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.

Previous Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Developer, or in a related role.
• Experience in Enterprise DevOps and/or cloud migration contexts is preferred.
