Devops Engineer

Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a Software Deployment Engineer to join the Information Technology department. Reporting to the IT Project Manager, this role is crucial for managing the software deployment lifecycle, ensuring efficient and smooth software releases. Key responsibilities include collaborating with development teams on deployment strategies and timelines, executing and maintaining software applications across various environments, and automating the deployment process through scripting. The role also involves system monitoring, troubleshooting, testing and validation of deployed applications, comprehensive documentation of deployment procedures, and providing support to development teams for release management. Additionally, the Software Deployment Engineer will conduct training sessions for designated customer staff. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with deployment tools like Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or Azure DevOps, proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash), a strong understanding of software development processes, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Desired technical skills encompass server hardware and network configurations, virtualization, Java, web servers, and routing protocols. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are also highly valued.
