This role requires proficiency in infrastructure management, system administration, automation, release management, coding, and the utilization of various DevOps tools. Required Talent:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Minimum 5 Years Experience:

• Contribute to the design and ongoing maintenance of development and production environments, prioritizing high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Demonstrate solid experience with core AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, Load Balancers, IAM, Cognito, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and Systems Manager.
• Deploy and manage AWS database services such as RDS, MongoDB Atlas, and Kafka.
• Possess strong, hands-on knowledge of Kafka, with the ability to debug and optimize application performance involving Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining AWS Lambda, including automated deployment of serverless applications, is highly desirable.

Continuous Delivery:

• Develop and maintain fully automated Continuous Integration (CI) build processes across multiple environments.
• Exhibit working knowledge of build processes and tools like Maven.

Linux Systems:

• Proficiency in the setup, configuration, general maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Recommend best practices for OS/Kernel configuration, security policies, and performance optimization.
• Leverage Python and Bash for systems management automation.

Containers:

• Possess a strong understanding of virtualization concepts and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and/or EKS or Kubernetes.
• Implement auto-scaling for EC2 instances and Docker containers, including custom solutions as needed.

Monitoring and Automation:

• Identify key metrics and automate their monitoring using Python or Go to reflect the state of the environment.
• Automate AWS and other infrastructure tasks using CloudFormation or Terraform to ensure standardized service deployments.

Logging (Good to Have):

• Experience in setting up and configuring open-source logging tools like Kibana for centralizing and reporting service logs.
