Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer in Ahmedabad, India, you will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to refine our software development and deployment processes. Your core responsibility will involve automating and optimizing our systems for maximum availability and reliability, with a strong emphasis on Python scripting for automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment processes.
• Utilize Docker for efficient application containerization.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with development teams to implement and champion DevOps best practices.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks and enhance efficiency in deployment and operations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for scalable and consistent infrastructure management.
• Leverage configuration management tools such as Ansible for automated configuration and provisioning.
• Implement monitoring solutions like Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar to ensure application and infrastructure health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps or comparable role.
• Proficiency in Docker for application containerization.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud deployments.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certificate is preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
