DevOps Engineer - Ahmedabad

iCreative Technologies Inc is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role involves managing and optimizing our server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for our PHP-based applications and Odoo ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize Linux (Ubuntu) servers for high availability and performance.
• Install, configure, and fine-tune Apache/Nginx web servers for secure and scalable deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain PHP-based applications in staging and production environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP servers, including PostgreSQL setup, tuning, and optimization.
• Configure and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning and backup strategies.
• Monitor server health, uptime, logs, and resource utilization; proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot server, network, and application-level issues with root cause analysis.

Security & Reliability

• Implement and enforce server security best practices, including firewall configuration (UFW/iptables), Fail2Ban, SSL/TLS setup and renewal, and SSH hardening.
• Implement malware detection and protection mechanisms.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security audits.
• Design and maintain backup policies and disaster recovery procedures.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean.
• Configure domains, DNS records, and SSL certificates.
• Maintain separate staging and production environments with controlled release workflows.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and repeatable server provisioning.

Automation & CI/CD

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Automate routine system administration tasks using shell scripting.
• Configure and manage Docker containers for application isolation and scalability.
• Ensure minimal downtime deployments and rollback strategies.

Monitoring & Support

• Continuously monitor logs and system alerts to detect anomalies.
• Provide log analysis and technical guidance to development teams.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
