Full Stack Developer - Sportz Interactive

Sportz Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This role is instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications, covering both frontend and backend layers. We are looking for a candidate with strong, hands-on expertise in React.js and Node.js, coupled with a passion for modern web technologies. You will play a key role in driving technical execution and ensuring end-to-end delivery of innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Build responsive, reusable, and scalable frontend components using React.js.
• Develop robust backend APIs and services using Node.js, supporting both REST and GraphQL.
• Design efficient data models and work with various databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices, and upholding high standards for quality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless product experiences.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development principles are applied across all projects.
• Support R&D initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and contributing to innovation.
• Provide on-call support during critical periods such as marquee events and system deployments.
• Represent Sportz Interactive in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews.

Background and Experience:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and jQuery.
• Strong proficiency in the React.js ecosystem, including Hooks, Context API, functional components, and state management (Redux/MobX/Zustand).
• Solid experience with Node.js and backend frameworks like Express or Fastify.
• Exposure to Next.JS is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• A deep understanding of application scalability, performance tuning, and maintainability.
• Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), Redis Cache, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management tools such as JIRA.
• Strong grasp of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and working with XML/JSON data structures.
• Knowledge of mobile optimization and frameworks like jQuery Mobile is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Dynamo DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
