Role Overview
At UST in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), we are seeking an experienced Angular – Front End Developer with strong backend skills to design responsive UIs, build Python APIs, and containerize applications using Docker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create responsive user interfaces using Angular, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS.
- Develop backend services with Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Containerize applications using Docker; manage Dockerfiles and container images.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, DevOps teams to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot production systems for performance, scalability, security (HTTP), and cross-browser compatibility issues.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 5+ years building backend services in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
- Hands-on expertise with Docker/Dockerfiles; CI/CD workflows preferred.
- Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks/APIs such as OpenAI GPT and Hugging Face Transformers.
Desired Skills:
- Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE, AKS).
- AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platform knowledge.
- MLOps or model deployment frameworks background.
- TypeScript/Next.js/SSR proficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (or equivalent professional experience).
