About the Role

The Developer Experience (DevEx) Engineer will architect and deploy tools, templates, scripts, and AI agent configurations that empower development teams to adopt consistent, efficient, and secure AI-first engineering practices. This role centers on configuring agentic coding tools, building reusable prompt and rules libraries, integrating MCP servers, automating developer workflows, and validating tooling efficacy before organization-wide rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable, reusable developer templates, scripts, agent configurations, rules files, and MCP integrations.
• Configure and integrate AI coding tools directly into development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop robust automation solutions using Python, Node.js, and related scripting technologies.
• Support Git and Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows and pipeline integration strategies.
• Create standardized configurations for industry-leading tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and OutSystems Mentor.
• Rigorously test and validate templates, agent configurations, and scripts prior to production rollout.
• Maintain strict version control for all prompts, configuration files, and developer tooling assets.
• Measure adoption metrics, gather actionable feedback from developers, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the overall Developer Experience (DevEx).

Mandatory Skills & Experience

We seek a candidate with 5+ years of overall professional experience in developer tooling, DevEx, automation, platform engineering, or related technical roles. Essential qualifications include at least 1 year of hands-on AI-assisted delivery and practical experience configuring multiple agentic coding tools.Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js scripting.
• Mastery of Git source control and Azure DevOps pipelines (or equivalent CI/CD tooling).
• Ability to create reusable templates, scripts, agent rules, and developer configurations.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate tools seamlessly into development workflows.
