Lead .NET Engineer for FinTech Domain in Chennai
Grid Dynamics is seeking an experienced Lead .NET Engineer with over 8 years of expertise in .NET, C#, and a deep understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Argo CD. This full-time position is based in Chennai and requires a candidate passionate about driving architectural decisions, modernizing systems, and providing technical leadership within FinTech projects.
About the Role
This role is pivotal in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable solutions using .NET Core, C#, and various Azure services. You will lead containerized deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), manage cluster scaling and security, and implement GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD for reliable, automated release pipelines. Collaboration with customers for requirement analysis and technical solutioning is a key aspect. You will also be responsible for driving the rearchitecture and migration of legacy systems to cloud-native microservices and overseeing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Argo CD for multi-environment automation. Code and design reviews to uphold high standards of quality and scalability are expected.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions using .NET Core, C#, and Azure services.
- Lead containerized deployments using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with strong command of cluster management, scaling, and security.
- Implement GitOps-based deployments using Argo CD, ensuring reliable and automated release pipelines.
- Participate in customer discussions for requirement analysis, clarifications, and technical solutioning.
- Drive legacy system rearchitecture and migration to microservices.
- Oversee Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration with Argo CD for multi-environment automation.
- Review architecture, design, and code to ensure high standards of quality and scalability.
Project Management & Coordination
- Plan and manage project execution, including sprint planning, status tracking, and risk management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, DevOps, Product, and Delivery).
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Align technical execution with business and customer objectives.
Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Perform root cause analysis for production and performance issues.
- Use monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk for observability and proactive issue resolution.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide team members on design, coding standards, and DevOps best practices.
- Foster collaboration, continuous learning, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in .NET, .NET Core, and C# development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) architecture, deployment strategies, scaling, and monitoring.
- Strong hands-on experience with Argo CD for GitOps, automated deployments, and environment management.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services including Blob Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, and related infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and legacy modernization approaches.
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus).
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk).
- Excellent customer communication, analysis, and technical leadership skills.
- Proven experience in planning, team coordination, and project execution.
