Dev Ops Engineer

About the Role

We are building a high-performance financial trading software platform covering pricing, execution, risk management, and market data across rates, FX, and derivatives. For us, reliability, speed, and security are core product requirements, not optional features.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure for a real-time trading system supporting developers, quants, and traders.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines with testing, security scanning, and controlled releases to ensure safe production deployment during market hours.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Helm across GCP and on-prem environments.
• Run containerized Kubernetes workloads tuned for low-latency and high availability.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting focused on latency, throughput, and market-data health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and OpenTelemetry.
• Support infrastructure for FIX/API connectivity, message buses (Kafka, Solace), time-series databases, and disaster recovery plans.
• Harden security posture through secrets management, IAM, network segmentation, and vulnerability management while adhering to regulatory requirements like FCA, MiFID II, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and on-call rotations aligned with trading hours.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering within production environments where downtime is costly.
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience writing IaC templates with Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP).
