EY is seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. In this specialist role, you will be instrumental in architecting, deploying, and managing services across major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You should possess strong expertise in private cloud technologies like VMware and be adept at designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing cloud migration projects with minimal business disruption, assessing on-premises infrastructure for cloud readiness, and deploying/managing cloud infrastructure using best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization. You will automate cloud operations and monitoring for high availability and resilience, and manage Wintel environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure. Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Exchange, and related Microsoft infrastructure is essential.

This role requires hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and designing/maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues and implementing security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications. Designing and implementing robust storage and backup solutions, and optimizing these processes for business continuity are also critical aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 7-8 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, VMware, and Wintel technologies. Proficiency in Terraform, strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and a solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools are required. Experience with Python or strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) and containerization technologies (Docker) will be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are a must.
