Position: Database & Cloud Engineer

Experience: Maximum 7 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, architect, and implement robust database solutions tailored for cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance benchmarks.
• Proactively monitor database performance, implement comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies, and maintain high availability configurations.
• Continuously refine database structures, schemas, indexes, and queries to maximize performance, efficiency, and overall reliability.
• Uphold stringent security best practices, regulatory compliance, and data governance standards across all cloud database deployments.
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps teams, and key stakeholders to facilitate database migrations, integration projects, and ensure seamless system interoperability.

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in managing both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Proven hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with specialized expertise in cloud-native database services.
• Proficiency in utilizing managed cloud database services like AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of database architecture, schema design, advanced performance tuning techniques, and robust security protocols.
• Strong automation capabilities utilizing scripting languages and tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
