With 4–6 years of experience, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge quantum-enabled solutions to address complex industry challenges. This role is ideal for a curious and skilled engineer passionate about shaping the future of computation.
The Opportunity:
As a Quantum Engineer, you will be part of a specialized team leveraging quantum algorithms, simulators, and AI to solve real-world problems. You will collaborate with clients, researchers, and cross-functional teams to prototype and operationalize quantum solutions across domains such as optimization, cryptography, material science, and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement quantum algorithms using platforms like Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or Braket for client use cases.
- Integrate AI/ML models with quantum circuits for hybrid quantum-classical systems.
- Evaluate and optimize performance across quantum simulators and hardware backends.
- Build hybrid quantum-classical workflows using cloud platforms like AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, or IBM Quantum.
- Translate complex quantum concepts into functional prototypes with measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with domain experts to define use cases, benchmark solutions, and guide PoCs/MVPs.
- Contribute to technical documentation, research papers, and client presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in quantum computing.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset for fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environments.
- Curiosity and passion for emerging technologies, particularly quantum computing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Quantum Information, or a related technical field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with quantum computing tools and libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, t|ket>, Braket).
- Proven experience integrating AI/ML techniques with quantum computing platforms.
- Strong Python programming skills for algorithm development and simulation.
- Experience with cloud platforms for quantum computing (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, IBM Quantum).
- Exposure to building hybrid quantum-classical systems.
Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
- Solid background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory.
- Familiarity with variational quantum algorithms (VQE, QAOA), quantum annealing, or quantum kernel methods.
- Experience developing PoCs or MVPs in sectors like finance, supply chain, pharmaceuticals, or cybersecurity.
- Contributions to open-source quantum communities or published research.
- Knowledge of quantum error mitigation, fault-tolerant architectures, and benchmarking.
What EY Offers:
- An innovation-driven culture focused on deep tech transformation.
- Access to leading quantum hardware and simulation environments.
- Opportunities for professional growth, technical training, and industry exposure.
- A collaborative ecosystem to drive real business change.
