Desktop Support Specialist

Fluent Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Desktop/IT Support Specialist to join our team in Mumbai, India. This role is crucial for ensuring our team has the necessary tools and a robust, secure, and user-friendly IT environment. You will be involved in hands-on support, strategic procurement, and Mobile Device Management (MDM), primarily utilizing JumpCloud and Google Workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) technical support for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Manage and configure IT devices using JumpCloud (MDM) for Windows, macOS, and Linux laptops.
• Handle user lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding through JumpCloud and Google Workspace.
• Orchestrate software rollouts and updates via JumpCloud.
• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and upgrading core IT systems and networks.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, system configurations, procedures, and IT asset inventory.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies.
• Identify, assess, and recommend external software solutions.
• Support the procurement lifecycle, including vendor research, quote requests, negotiations, and vendor relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless software integration and monitor license compliance for cost-effectiveness.
• Leverage basic understanding of software development concepts to evaluate solutions and vendor proposals.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT/Desktop support.
• Bachelor's degree in any field; a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong interest in IT systems, networks, hardware, and MDM platforms like JumpCloud.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation capabilities.
