Job Summary:

Thoughtsol Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide dedicated end-user IT support at a client site in Delhi. This role focuses on delivering exceptional assistance to VIP users, ensuring proactive device readiness, and leveraging basic server knowledge. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, technically adept, and capable of working independently within a dynamic enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide on-site IT support for end-users, with a specialized focus on VIPs and senior executives.
  • Deliver Level 1/2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

System Management:

  • Proactively prepare and maintain IT equipment, ensuring devices are updated and ready for deployment.
  • Assist with basic server-related tasks, including user account creation, password resets, and fundamental troubleshooting for Active Directory, File Servers, etc.

Incident and Problem Management:

  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and device imaging using standard tools and processes.

Asset Management:

  • Manage IT asset inventory and update records accurately.
  • Liaise effectively with remote support teams and escalate issues as required.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to organizational security policies and practices.
  • Identify and report potential security risks promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

  • Possession of CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, or equivalent certification is essential.
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in an on-site IT support role.
  • Experience within a managed service or client-facing IT environment is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, file and print services, and remote desktop support tools.
  • Experience supporting executive/VIP users is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based exclusively at the client's premises in Delhi. Occasional extended hours may be necessary to support special projects or VIP requirements.
