Full Job Description
Join a dynamic IT support team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, as a Desktop Support Engineer. This role offers a project-based environment with the potential for full-time conversion. You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across both Windows and macOS platforms.
Project Location: D&C, Majestic Plaza, Law Garden, Ellis Bridge, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India 380006
Work Model: Initially, 2-3 days per week onsite support is expected, with a potential transition to a full-time employee (FTE) role after several months.
Start Date: Monday, February 9th, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver robust L1/L2 desktop support for Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues including laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other standard business applications.
- Provide support for Active Directory, including user account management, password resets, and group policy administration.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problems effectively using ITSM tools like ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems related to LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Offer support for email systems such as Outlook, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
- Collaborate with L3 support teams and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Provide both onsite and remote technical assistance as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Desktop or End-User Computing (EUC) support.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows 10/11 and basic understanding of macOS.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Foundational understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Practical experience utilizing ITSM tools for IT service management.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call support rotation.
