Desktop application engineer

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Application Engineer with strong expertise in C# and WPF. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust desktop applications. This role requires a proactive individual ready to work from our client location in Bengaluru, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance desktop applications using C# and the WPF framework.
• Implement the MVVM design pattern for efficient application architecture.
• Utilize strong binding skills for assemblies and DLLs.
• Work with SQL Server (2019+) for database interactions.
• Develop and manage User Controls, Resource Dictionaries, and Styling.
• Collaborate using GIT or TFS for version control and management.
• Leverage Visual Studio 2019 and Microsoft DevOps for development and deployment.
• Implement solutions using Entity Framework 6.x, including Code-First and Migrations.
• Conduct unit and integration testing for forms, reports, and interfaces.
• Understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrate proven hands-on experience in all required skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and customer handling abilities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of change management processes.
• Apply excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively within a Scrum and Agile development environment.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech
• Experience: 7-10 years of .NET development experience in Windows applications built on the WPF framework.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7-10 years of development experience.
• Expertise in C# (with recent experience using v9+ and .Net v5).
• Working knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) including MVVM design pattern.
• Strong binding skills - assembly / DLLs.
• Experience with SQL Server (2019+).
• Documented experience with User Controls, Resource Dictionaries and Styling.
• Experience using GIT or TFS.
• Strong experience with Visual Studio 2019 and Microsoft DevOps.
• Entity Framework 6.x including Code-First and Entity Framework Migrations.
• Good knowledge of unit/integration testing on forms, reports, interfaces etc.
• Ability to understand requirements from customers.
• Proven hands-on experience in the specified skills.
