Designer

As a Media Designer at PERSOL India, you will be instrumental in crafting engaging and effective training solutions. Leveraging video, web, and media technologies, you will collaborate with project owners and instructional designers to meet project requirements. This role involves independently managing small to medium-sized training and communications projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), internal clients, senior developers, and management to gather content and develop instructionally sound, interactive learning experiences based on current learning principles.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of small to medium projects, from storyboarding and scripting to final publication across various media.
• Produce high-quality media assets, including graphics, videos, animations, and web pages, for other training designers and developers.
• Oversee the complete production of video projects: scripting, storyboarding, filming, and editing.
• Design effective communication materials such as templates, infographics, and quick reference guides.
• Utilize generative AI tools, including ChatGPT, to enhance and expedite various development stages.
• Set and achieve project milestones and deadlines, proactively communicating progress, barriers, and needs to your manager, clients, SMEs, and team members.
• Follow and contribute to the establishment of team templates and standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously building expertise in current and emerging tools.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with SMEs, clients, and the development team.
• Demonstrate adaptability to new practices and processes as workflows are enhanced.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience applying graphic design to training content development or a similar field.
• Understanding of learning principles and their application in design and development.
• Familiarity with web design and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate expertise in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with at least one e-learning application (Lectora, Captivate, or Storyline).
• Experience managing and working within the video production lifecycle.
• Experience utilizing ChatGPT or other generative AI tools to enhance and expedite development processes.
• A strong desire and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Self-guided and self-motivated, capable of working independently or within a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Ability to devise and implement unique and creative solutions for training projects.
• This is a remote position with normal office working conditions.
