Senior Design Engineer – LV Division

About the Role

We are urgently hiring a Sr. Design Engineer for our LV Division to join our manufacturing team in Bhiwadi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Design & Engineering: Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, and customer specifications. Develop electrical designs for LV switchboards, PCC/MCC panels, DBs, APFC/AMF/ATS panels, and other LV assemblies.
• Drawing Preparation: Prepare detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, panel layouts, component mounting arrangements, busbar arrangements, and cable entry details. Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, and maintenance using tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and E3/EPLAN.
• BOM & Documentation: Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), material specifications, and component schedules. Coordinate with Purchase teams for technical clarifications and maintain design documentation revision control.
• Customer Engineering Support: Study customer-approved documents, incorporate feedback into revised drawings, provide technical clarifications to Sales/Projects during the tender stage, and ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Purchase, Quality, Testing, and Project/Sales teams. Visit shop floors as needed to resolve design issues related to manufacturing or testing feedback.
• Design Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and optimization of panel dimensions, busbar arrangements, and component selection without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with 5–10 years of experience in LV electrical panel/switchboard design. Hands-on proficiency is mandatory in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and E3/EPLAN-type software.
