Design & Development Engineer - Electrical/Electronics (Control Systems) - NPD

We are seeking a highly skilled Design & Development Engineer with expertise in Electrical & Electronics and Control Systems to join our dynamic New Product Development (NPD) team in Hyderabad. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive design, development, testing, and successful realization of sophisticated electromechanical actuation systems, advanced control systems, and specialized test rigs essential for critical engineering applications.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing system-level electrical design, formulating robust control architectures, and meticulously executing the testing and validation of electrical and control packages. Your contributions will directly impact the innovation and delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the design of intricate electrical and electronic systems.
• Lead the design and development of advanced electromechanical actuators.
• Drive the development of electromechanical actuation systems incorporating sophisticated electrical and electronic components.
• Develop comprehensive control architectures, including PLC, HMI, control panels, data cables, and oversee control software development through trusted vendors.
• Design and implement robust test rigs for the rigorous functional testing of electromechanical packages.
• Manage the procurement of critical electrical elements such as motors, LVDTs, limit switches, and load cells for the realization of control system packages and test rigs.
• Conduct performance testing of electrical and control system packages, demonstrating proficiency in instrumentation and the analysis of test data.
• Prepare detailed design and comprehensive test documentation for all developed systems.
