Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves a deep understanding of ESR/ECN/ECO activities and their associated workflows. You will be responsible for 3D modeling and drafting of precision and casting metal parts, utilizing Creo and Windchill PLM. Creating Bills of Materials (BOM) in Oracle is also a key responsibility. This position requires strong knowledge in part design for casting, machining, plastics, and gaskets. You will work with large assembly models, manage product changes, engage in Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, and contribute to machine design. Your role will also encompass concept generation and new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and execute ESR/ECN/ECO activities and workflows.
• Perform 3D modeling and drafting of precision/casting metal parts using Creo and Windchill PLM.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) in Oracle.
• Demonstrate expertise in part design for casting, machined, plastic, and gasket components.
• Manage large assembly models and product change processes.
• Participate in VAVE and machine design projects.
• Contribute to concept generation and new product development.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting with Creo, and product documentation in PLM/Vault, Windchill.
• Familiarity with ESR/ECN/ECO activities.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, preferably welding, and part/product design.
• Knowledge of mechanism design.
• A results-driven and quality-focused approach with adherence to committed timelines.
• Ability to build and manage collaborative relationships, acting as a good team player and stakeholder developer.
• Strong customer focus, understanding requirements and providing effective solutions.
