Deputy Manager

About the Role:
The Deputy Manager - GIS Engineer is responsible for supporting Aerodrome Safeguarding operations. This executive role ensures compliance with safety standards through thorough inspections, effective incident response, stakeholder communication, and data management within the airside environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys to verify coordinates and elevations; prepare joint inspection reports.
• Identify and document obstacles per Aircraft Rules 1994; coordinate with authorities for removal.
• Conduct routine monitoring of Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) and obstacle lights following SOPs.
• Process and maintain records for SACFA, NOC, OC/CC, and Crane/Piling Rig NOC applications.
• Liaise with local government bodies to reduce/remove obstacles around the airport.
• Utilize ArcGIS for obstacle plotting, survey data analysis, chart updates, and layout preparation.
• Maintain updated databases; prepare official communications with stakeholders, AAI, and DGCA.
• Collaborate with MCGM and MIAL on tree pruning/cutting/transplanting operations.
