Deployment Engineer II

Role Overview

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer II at Netrix Global. In this role, you will lead moderately complex implementations by planning, coordinating, configuring, deploying, and supporting technology solutions across both customer-facing and internal environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting deployment issues, managing cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements to enhance automation and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle deployment activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migration of hardware, software, cloud-based solutions, and infrastructure components.
• Validate technical prerequisites and readiness prior to implementation; perform rigorous testing and verification protocols post-deployment.
• Monitor environments proactively to troubleshoot and resolve issues that impact operational continuity or performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Security, Project Management, and Support teams throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate documentation for configuration records, procedures, and knowledge base content while adhering to security and compliance standards.
• Lead root cause analysis on complex issues; recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Promote operational excellence by providing guidance to junior engineers and sharing technical expertise across the team.

Qualifications

Must Have: 3-5 years of experience in deployment engineering, infrastructure support, or systems administration; proven track record leading system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations; strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity and infrastructure issues; ability to work cross-functionally with limited supervision.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science; specialized training in networking, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), or systems administration; relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, or VMware credentials.
