Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Deployed Project Support Associate in New Delhi, India. This role is part of the Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Corporate Systems team, specifically within Vertical Shared Services. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, best-in-class business systems with strong governance that support Bechtel Business Services, Human Resources, Management Information & Planning, and Industrial Relations.
The Corporate Systems team is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including Global Payroll, Accounting, Budgeting, Tax, Financial Reporting, Legal, Procure-to-Pay, Facilities, Travel and Expenses, Time Collection, HR, IR, Benefits, and Employee Assignment Management. We also manage access controls, scheduled job runs, and system integrations.
The Deployed Project Support group provides enterprise-wide support and solutions for all Bechtel applications used on projects worldwide. We offer strategic and procedural support in specialized disciplines such as eTrack, Brassring, SAP, and other project applications for Time and Attendance, Payroll, and Big Data BI Reporting.
As a Deployed Project Support Associate, you will contribute to providing configuration and development support for these applications. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and stakeholders to understand data needs, analyze issues, and provide appropriate solutions. This role requires a strong work ethic, self-driven attitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will also assist in developing test cases and coordinating enhancements and changes through testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CATT scripts and LSMW for data conversions and mass data loads.
- Develop queries using the Adhoc query toolset in SAP.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of the SAP HCM Module, including HR, Payroll, and Benefits data flow processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MCA.
- 0 to 2 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with SAP/HR Payroll system technical knowledge.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to quickly learn and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Tier 1 & 2 production support, troubleshoot data and system issues, and train users on SAP ECC and other applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with IT and stakeholders.
- Desirable: 2-3 years of SAP payroll configuration experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.
- Strong work ethic, self-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of controlled development, testing, and production environments.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
