Delivery Manager

About the Role

This position is within Post Sales Design Support, where you will serve as a Delivery Manager overseeing a team of design engineers in the region. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver post-sales design solutions for Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) and Gas-Based Suppression systems, including Fire Detection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications to accurately understand project requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and shop drawings for customer approval and project execution.
• Develop schematics, P&IDs, and isometric layouts. Proficiency in preparing hydraulic calculations, SOPs, and DDC schedules is essential.
• Ensure project execution results in zero customer complaints.
• Demonstrate technical competence across various firefighting systems, including:
  • Fire alarm & Public Address Systems
  • Security systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Physical Security, and Intruder Alarm Systems.
  • BMS for General Arrangement (GA) and Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous systems (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas).
• Coordinate with Architects, Clients, and Contractors throughout various project stages.
• Adhere to operational process requirements to drive efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the IBMS industry.
• 8 to 13 years of design expertise in IBMS.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on time-bound delivery of project deliverables.
• Ability to develop robust work practices and standard procedures to optimize time.
• Proven track record in minimizing engineering changes and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in design process improvement. Familiarity with Python scripting and Windows SW application testing is a plus.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for both detailed work and general assignments.
• A professional, results-oriented individual with a high degree of self-motivation.
