About the Role

EY is seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in React to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is responsible for developing large and complex web application architectures. You will design, build, and document components and standards that govern data representation, integration, and user interaction to meet business requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create sound project plans, identify, manage, and mitigate risks. A key part of this role involves developing relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applying deep technical knowledge to solve business problems, and proactively articulating new solutions or ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide innovative and practical designs for enterprise data architecture, applying advanced technical capabilities.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Guide others in resolving complex data architecture issues and solve escalated project challenges.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Monitor project progress and quality.
• Review and develop due diligence to ensure developed solutions comply with architectural design.
• Maintain software throughout its lifecycle, including design, development, verification, and bug fixes.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Experience designing and conducting research with recently developed technologies.
• Proficiency in UI Architecture and Design.
• Ability to define standards for UI design and development.
• Experience building highly scalable products.
• Capability to identify and evaluate software packages and solutions, including developing RFPs and assessing vendor proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production development experience with ReactJS.
• 6+ years of JavaScript development experience.
• 4+ years in Web development.
• Strong UI/UX and architecture skills.
• Awareness of JSON, REST, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Protractor, Karma, Jasmine.
• Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript OOPs concepts.
• Strong problem-solving approach.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles, including experience with workflows like Flux or Redux.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web designing.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token.
• Experience with front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Experience with testing and writing unit test scripts/specs (Karma, Jasmine).
• Familiarity with code versioning tools and DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

• Angular2+
• Experience in Redux.
• AWS/Azure or other cloud exposure.
• SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SSL integration exposure.
• Experience in emerging technologies such as IoT, AI/ML.
