Senior Developer - Microsoft Sustainability Manager (GDS Consulting)

Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Consulting team as a Senior Developer specializing in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge sustainability solutions for global clients, focusing on the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability industry cloud. Your expertise will ensure these solutions align with best practices and deliver significant client value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Model Driven Apps (MDAs) for diverse business needs, focusing on efficient data models and user interfaces.
• Build MDAs specifically for sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint tracking, resource management, and supply chain optimization.
• Configure and customize Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) solutions to address specific client requirements and industry challenges.
• Create engaging Power BI dashboards and reports for visualizing sustainability data and tracking progress.
• Develop and maintain KPI models to measure and monitor key performance indicators for sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand complex data models and ensure accurate data visualization.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in sustainable software development and integrate them into solutions.
• Gain a strong understanding of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability Common Data Model.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability developer or in a similar development role, with a strong focus on Model Driven Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles and experience designing efficient data models in Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with Power Platform Core (Dataverse/CDS, Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Custom Pages, Power Portals/Power Pages) and Dynamics CRM / 365.
• Strong coding experience in Model Driven App Development, including Plugin Development, PCF components, Ribbon Customization, FetchXML, and XRM APIs.
• Significant experience with Power Automate, emphasizing efficiency and performance.
• Proven experience creating custom forms with JavaScript validations.
• Experience developing PCF components is a plus.
• Expertise in building user interfaces using the Model Driven App canvas and customizing forms, views, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Experience designing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Synapse, ADF, Azure Functions, and Data Lake.
• Familiarity with integration techniques, including connectors and custom APIs.
• Experience in Power BI, including advanced functions, DAX scripting, advanced Power Query, and data modeling on CDM.
• Experience with Power FX is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build/release management.
• Experience leading teams and delivering high-quality results within timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations effectively.
• A quick learner with a proactive attitude.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills, fostering teamwork and responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Excellent communication skills, consulting experience is preferred.
