Full Job Description
Join EY's GDS Consulting team within the Digital & Emerging group as a Senior Microsoft Sustainability Manager Developer in Bengaluru, India. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing advanced sustainability solutions for global clients using the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability industry cloud. Your expertise will ensure these solutions adhere to industry best practices and deliver significant client value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Model Driven Apps to address diverse business needs, focusing on efficient data models, logical relationships, and optimized user interfaces.
- Develop Model Driven Apps (MDAs) specifically for sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint tracking, resource management, and supply chain optimization.
- Configure and customize Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) solutions to meet unique client requirements and industry-specific challenges.
- Create engaging dashboards and reports in Power BI for visualizing sustainability data and monitoring progress towards key goals.
- Develop and maintain KPI models to effectively measure and track the performance of sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand complex data models and ensure accurate data visualization.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in sustainable software development and integrate them into our solutions.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability Common Data Model.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability industry cloud developer or in a similar development role, with a strong emphasis on Model Driven Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem.
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles and hands-on experience designing efficient data models in Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience with Power Platform Core components, including Dataverse/CDS, Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Custom Pages, and Power Portals/Power Pages, as well as Dynamics CRM / 365.
- Strong coding proficiency in Model Driven App Development, including Plugin Development, PCF component development, Ribbon Customization, FetchXML, and XRM APIs.
- Robust and proven experience with Power Automate, emphasizing efficiency and performance-driven solution design.
- Significant and proven experience in creating custom forms with JavaScript-based validations.
- Experience developing PCF components is considered an advantage.
- Expertise in building user interfaces using the Model Driven App canvas and customizing forms, views, and dashboards.
- Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation and logical implementation.
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Synapse, ADF, Azure Functions, and Data Lake.
- Familiarity with integration techniques, including connectors and custom APIs (Application Program Interface).
- Experience with Power BI, including advanced functions, DAX scripting, advanced Power Query, and data modeling on CDM.
- Familiarity with Power FX is considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps & CI/CD pipelines, including setup for Automated Build and Release Management.
- Experience leading teams to deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver compelling technical demonstrations.
- A quick learner with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to apply strong project management skills, foster teamwork, and ensure accountability among engagement team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a background in a professional services firm being advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills; consulting experience is preferred.
