EY is seeking a Mendix Senior Developer to join our PI Digital Low Code team in Gurgaon, India. In this role, you will lead technical delivery for global customer projects, providing Mendix expertise and mentoring development staff. You will engage with clients, contribute to project proposals, and collaborate with architects on technical decisions and solution architectures for low-code projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Mendix development projects as a technical lead.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables.
• Provide input for technology stack evaluation and assist architects with technology choices.
• Design and govern reusable accelerators, apply design patterns, and implement reusable technical components (e.g., error handling, logging).
• Ensure timely project delivery by working with relevant teams.
• Prepare technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, and presentations.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment and contribute to excellence.
• Lead and mentor development teams, working closely with Project Managers and Senior Business Analysts.
• Take ownership of solution delivery and translate functional requirements into effective solutions.
• Manage task allocation and performance evaluation of team members.
• Communicate with client teams, gather requirements, conduct team meetings, and track project progress.
• Participate in candidate interviews and assist with recruitment.
• Ensure an efficient working atmosphere and timely achievement of project objectives.
• Adhere to development best practices and be flexible in addressing issues and identifying improvements.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, strong communication, and team-building skills.
• Work iteratively with continuous collaboration within the team.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• At least 4 years of experience in Mendix development.
• Proficiency in programming languages like .NET or Java.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and CSS customization.
• Experience building APIs and Services using REST, SOAP, etc.
• Good understanding of developing multi-tenant applications using the Mendix platform.
• Solid understanding of Mendix Microflows and Workflows.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to perform basic data modeling and enforce referential integrity.
• Proficiency in debugging and unit testing.
• Thorough understanding of developing Entity models, relations, aggregates, and advanced queries.
• Hands-on experience across all phases of the SDLC using agile methodologies.

Other Focus Areas:

• Mendix Rapid Developer certification is preferred.
• Understanding and experience of software development best practices and clean coding.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, error-free deliverables.
• Ability to lead teams in developing high-level solution designs for RFPs and estimate project efforts.
• Knowledge of CMMI framework or SAFE methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to connect technology solutions with measurable business value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
• 5 to 9 years of overall experience in building web or mobile applications, with at least 4-5 years of Mendix-specific development experience.
• Proven experience in leading development teams.
• Knowledge of process methodologies like Agile/CMMI.
