Full Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Manager (7-9 years experience) based in Pune, India. You will lead backend service design using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture on PCF or Kubernetes platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with strong front-end integration (Angular/React).
  • Deploy and manage applications on Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Kubernetes environments.
  • Select vendor solutions and methodologies; write clean, testable code with high coverage in Unit/System Testing.
  • Mentor junior engineers, participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups), and conduct code reviews.

Technical Requirements:

  • Core Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs.
  • CMS & Cloud: PCF, Kubernetes, Docker (Azure/AWS/GCP exposure preferred).
  • Databases: Oracle or PostgreSQL; Cassandra experience is a plus.
  • Messaging: Kafka or equivalent event technologies for high-throughput transactional systems.
