Role: Lead AI and Data Solutions Engineer II
About the Team:
The Artificial Intelligence & Engineering team leverages cutting-edge capabilities to build, deploy, and operate integrated solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud. We help transform mission-critical operations by reimagining processes critical to business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate & Understand Requirements: Work with functional teams and clients to thoroughly understand business needs.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee technical delivery by providing architectural recommendations, leading documentation efforts, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Project Management: Direct solution design and development for timely project plans. Identify risks with leadership and prepare status reports.
- Mentorship & Communication: Mentor junior members and facilitate cross-team communication within engagements.
- Sales Support: Respond to proposals with accurate estimations, ensuring alignment between technical objectives and client needs.
Data Solutions Focus Areas:
We help clients innovate by designing modern-scale platforms for data management, governance, and integration (structured/unstructured). Our experts leverage cloud, edge, and AI/ML technologies to generate insights. We drive operational efficiency through automation, cognitive solutions, and As-a-Service models.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in architecture, design, implementation, or support of highly distributed applications.
- Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI), including end-to-end deployment and migration strategies.
- Data Engineering: Proficiency in SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, E2E ETL solutions, and data lake design (batch/streaming).
- Scripting & Languages: Experience with Bash, PySpark, Scala, Python, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Architecture Strategy: Ability to define cloud strategy for enterprises and articulate solution visions in business value context.
