Full Job Description
Endpoint is seeking a Data Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting all facets of Data Management, including handling data changes, performing verifications, managing data transfers, and facilitating data integrations, all while maintaining meticulous supporting documentation. You will operate with a high degree of independence, requiring minimal direct supervision from Senior or Lead Data Specialists. This position involves close collaboration with internal study teams and occasional engagement with external end-users and sponsors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-quality SQL data scripts and queries for production data updates and reporting.
- Manage the data change request processes within the Endpoint eDRS system.
- Thoroughly review change requests to ensure clarity, completeness, and assess potential impact.
- Partner with Client Services and clients to ensure database updates align with the original intent of requests.
- Maintain and continuously improve Data Management best practices.
- Review Data Management Plan Specifications for quality, consistency, and feasibility.
- Conduct verifications for database lock, project archives, and client-related documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and the implementation team to address clinical application requirements and/or modifications to clinical database systems.
- Participate in conference calls and meetings with external teams as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This role may require weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in SQL data management, ideally within the clinical trials sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using SQL scripts, creating complex queries, and stored procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are preferred; SAS knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and SQL.
