Role Overview: As a Data Specialist in Delhi, India, you will be responsible for end-to-end data operations, including data flow management, ETL processes, and timely database production. This role involves maintaining comprehensive documentation, actively monitoring for issues, conducting thorough data checks and comparisons, and performing quality assurance on all data feeds. You will also manage Azure-based operations, including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Blob Storage, handle routine backups and system housekeeping, and collaborate closely with the development team to meet and enhance Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize data across various databases.
• Perform advanced data manipulation using SQL and develop dashboards in Power BI.
• Handle secure data transfers via networks and FTP tools.
• Ensure data accuracy through robust cleaning and validation processes.
• Apply basic statistical methods for insightful data interpretation.
• Resolve complex data issues leveraging strong analytical thinking.
• Uphold data privacy and adhere to stringent security best practices.
• Create compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Utilize Excel, Power BI, and other MS Office tools for efficient data handling and reporting.
• Leverage knowledge of the local car market to enhance data accuracy (preferred).
• Work proactively with a strong sense of self-motivation and a results-driven mindset.
• Communicate effectively through both verbal and written channels.
• Adapt readily to evolving processes and organizational changes.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess basic knowledge of Azure-based operations, including ADF and Blob Storage.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data modeling or a similar role.
• A solid understanding of data modeling principles, including diagrams and normalization.
• Proficiency in SQL for both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as SQL DB or ERBuilder.
• Familiarity with data governance, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Demonstrated experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines; knowledge of the car market is a valuable asset.
