Data Security & DLP Analyst

Alignerr is seeking experienced Data Security & DLP Analysts for an AI training initiative. This hourly contract role, based remotely with flexible hours (10-40/week), involves training and evaluating advanced AI systems focused on data security. You will leverage your hands-on experience with DLP controls, data classification, and security operations to shape how AI understands and handles sensitive information exposure, detection, and prevention. This is a significant opportunity to apply deep security knowledge to a critical technological challenge.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
• Classify data sensitivity, identify exposure paths, and detect policy violations.
• Review and evaluate strategies for prevention, detection, and incident response.
• Generate, label, and validate data security cases for AI training and benchmarking.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI's accuracy in risk assessment for sensitive information.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Proficiency with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy/regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Solid understanding of real-world enterprise data risks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage task-based assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS security tools.
• Background in security engineering, incident response, or risk management.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows.
