Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Commitments team. In this role, you will analyze cloud usage forecasts, coverage targets, and purchase recommendations; quantify risk and savings; and partner with engineers and product teams to improve and measure recommendation quality.

• Analyze how usage forecasts become coverage targets and purchase recommendations, collaborating with Commitments engineers on improvements
• Quantify risk and expected savings for each recommendation so customers and our team can trust the numbers
• Analyze commitment performance across customers to identify areas where our approach excels or needs refinement
• Work with engineers to translate findings into product changes, measuring their impact
• Define metrics for recommendation quality and report results in business terms
• Communicate methods and results clearly to engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
