Role Overview
As a Data Scientist at BCG X, you will engage in complex projects designed to deepen your understanding of diverse business challenges and cultivate new skills. You will harness data and advanced analytical techniques to discover groundbreaking insights that deliver sustained value for BCG and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced analytics and AI/ML methodologies to address intricate business issues and generate client value.
- Develop frameworks and conceptualize business problems.
- Manage projects, client relationships, and proactively drive solutions to client challenges.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, delivering compelling insights and solutions.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams composed of individuals with varied backgrounds and perspectives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Big Data.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools for data analysis and machine learning, including Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable data products on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, and computer vision.
- Familiarity with industry-specific analytics, such as retail, healthcare, or financial analytics, is beneficial.
