Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our partner's innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying advanced AI models by working with diverse datasets, building predictive models, and collaborating with research and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust data collection and preprocessing pipelines for both structured and unstructured datasets, particularly those derived from agent simulations.
- Build, iterate, and optimize machine learning models for performance prediction, behavior clustering, and strategic optimization.
- Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards and visualization tools to effectively monitor agent metrics, identify trends, and establish benchmarks.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analyses to evaluate the performance of AI systems across a variety of simulated environments.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop sophisticated evaluation frameworks that assess agent reasoning, adaptability, and overall efficiency.
- Prototype data-driven tools and feedback loops designed to enhance model accuracy and improve agent behavior.
- Work in close partnership with AI research teams to translate experimental findings into scalable, actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- A strong academic and practical background in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, including extensive experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- A solid understanding of probabilistic modeling, statistical inference, and various experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, causal inference).
- Demonstrated ability to collect, clean, and transform complex datasets into formats suitable for modeling.
- Experience in designing and evaluating predictive models using industry-standard metrics like precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC.
- Comfortable working with large-scale data systems, including platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery.
- A genuine curiosity about AI agents and how data profoundly influences their reasoning and behavior.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and research disciplines.
