What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with the Cognitive WiFi team to research and develop advanced techniques for anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and automated remediation in Wi-Fi networks.
• Develop and evaluate Machine Learning models, measuring their effectiveness across Arista's global customer base.
• Design, develop, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for applications including natural language understanding, generation, summarization, and question-answering.
• Extract and analyze data from a diverse range of Wi-Fi networks.
• Create proof-of-concepts and deliver new features for Arista’s CloudVision Wi-Fi solution.
• Potentially share research findings and insights with the wider community through presentations and blog posts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including a deep understanding of their architecture, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas (Python) or Tidyverse (R).
• Experience working with development environments like Jupyter or RStudio/RMarkdown notebooks.
