Full Job Description
Heera Software Private Limited is seeking a Data Scientist in Pune, India, to develop and enhance core AI/ML products for various business use cases. This role involves building and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, conducting experiments, and delivering scalable AI solutions integrated into their SaaS platforms. The Data Scientist will collaborate closely with senior data scientists, business analysts, and product teams to create efficient, business-driven, and technically robust self-learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform data science prototypes into production-ready models.
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation techniques.
- Develop and deploy ML and deep learning models for sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and distributor analytics.
- Build computer vision and image AI models, including object detection, OCR, and product recognition.
- Work on predictive analytics for distributor and retailer insights.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI models into SaaS solutions.
- Conduct ML experiments, testing, and model optimization.
Required Skills
- Strong Python skills with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Experience with image AI and computer vision models.
- Hands-on expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and time-series forecasting.
- Exposure to cloud AI platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in team-based Agile environments.
- Understanding of MLOps and model deployment practices.
- Nice to have: Experience in FMCG, retail, or supply chain analytics.
