Data Scientist - Permanent Full-Time Position in Pune, India

ARKRAY, Inc. is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Pune, India team. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in medical data analysis and contribute to groundbreaking research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address complex challenges in Time Series 1D (continuous glucose monitoring), RNA sequencing, and Computer Vision, with a primary focus on medical images.
• Develop and implement scalable solutions using signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
• Design and build state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning algorithms tailored for medical datasets.
• Clearly and concisely communicate complex technical findings and methodologies to stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with research teams in Japan to understand project requirements and facilitate data acquisition.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field from a tier-1 institution.
• Major in Computer Science and Engineering or Data Science.
• Minimum CGPA of 8.0.
• 12 years of professional experience in programming languages such as Python or C++, including proficiency with Pandas.
• 12 years of experience working with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of classical time series algorithms, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision.
• Proven experience in developing and applying machine learning and deep learning models.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement research papers from top-tier conferences.
• A track record of innovation, including the development of intellectual property (patents) and publications in academic journals.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Docker, PowerPoint, and Git commands is essential.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with time-series, text, and sequential datasets in real-world applications.
• Demonstrated research or industry experience in Time Series problems, NLP, or tabular datasets.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Publications in top-tier conferences are highly desirable.
