Full Job Description
Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Data Scientist to leverage statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to uncover insights and build predictive models. In this role, you will utilize a variety of data tools, including programming languages, databases, and cloud technologies, to address critical business challenges and answer complex questions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and automate the collection of valuable data sources.
- Perform preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Communicate findings effectively using data visualization techniques.
- Propose innovative solutions and strategies for business challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and product management teams to understand and meet customer and company needs.
- Research and develop advanced statistical learning models.
- Conduct methodical analytical experiments to solve problems and drive impact across various domains.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Data Science role.
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning projects within an industry setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data engineering, and statistical modeling.
- A proven track record of continuous self-improvement and team development.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field is advantageous.
Desired Experience or Skills
- Familiarity with principles, tools, and methodologies for big data manipulation.
- Ability to implement new statistical or mathematical methodologies for specific models.
- Understanding of custom data models and experience developing algorithms for data application.
- Knowledge of diverse machine learning techniques, such as clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks.
