Role: Data Scientist - Noida, India

Credgenics, a high-growth fintech company, is seeking a passionate Data Scientist to contribute to the development of our Data Science vertical within the Collections and Lending space. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge challenges in the debt lifecycle for Banks, NBFCs, and FinTech companies operating in the lending sector.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with a team of data scientists and data engineers to solve complex problems within the debt lifecycle.
• Provide valuable portfolio insights to clients, enabling them to reduce operational costs and enhance recovery efficiency.
• Identify and apply the latest advancements in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to build, test, and validate predictive models.
• Develop algorithms to extract meaningful information from large, multiparametric datasets.
• Deploy algorithms into production environments to derive actionable insights from extensive databases.
• Evaluate and compare results from various methodologies to recommend optimal techniques.
• Develop and implement automated processes for predictive model validation, deployment, and ongoing management.
• Architect robust ML pipelines and contribute high-quality, production-ready code that is readable, well-tested, and features well-designed APIs.
• Mentor interns and junior data scientists, promoting best software development practices.

What we need:

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar Data Scientist role.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python.
• Experience with at least one Deep Learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
• Expert understanding of Machine Learning best practices and their practical application.
• Solid grasp of ML/DL methods and architectures, with mastery in performance assessment and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop novel machine learning methods that extend beyond existing code frameworks, and to apply problem-solving skills to intricate challenges.
• Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team, fostering a continuous learning environment.
• A proactive approach to learning new skills and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
