Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Collegedunia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven strategies. Your responsibilities will include analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that will inform critical product decisions. You will be instrumental in building, validating, and deploying statistical and machine learning models tailored to various business use cases. Collaboration will be key, as you'll work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to conceptualize and implement data-centric solutions. Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) and effectively communicating your findings through compelling dashboards and presentations will be a core part of your role. Continuous monitoring of model performance and iterative improvements to enhance accuracy and impact are also expected. A key aspect of this position involves translating intricate business problems into well-defined analytical frameworks and measurable metrics.

We are seeking candidates with:

A strong command of Python, with practical experience in data analysis and model development. A robust understanding of Statistics and Probability is essential. We prefer candidates with 2-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst, ideally within a product-focused organization. A B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 engineering college is highly preferred. Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, and machine learning libraries is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams are paramount.
