Data Scientist Opportunity at LS Digital Group in Navi Mumbai, India

LS Digital Group is looking for a motivated Data Scientist to join their team in Navi Mumbai, India. This role is ideal for individuals with practical experience in developing machine learning models, creating end-to-end data pipelines, and deploying AI/ML solutions. A background in Generative AI technologies is considered a significant advantage.

In this position, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML-driven products and services, utilizing Google Vertex AI and other Google Cloud Machine Learning capabilities. This is a permanent job requiring 2 to 4 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive machine learning pipelines.
• Construct predictive and prescriptive models to address key business challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Optimize and monitor machine learning models to ensure sustained performance and scalability.
• Investigate and implement Generative AI technologies to enhance product offerings.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions using Vertex AI and Google ML tools.
• Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, models, and processes for internal knowledge sharing and future reference.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Proven experience in building and deploying end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud ML platforms, with a preference for Google Vertex AI.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and working with structured datasets.
• A solid understanding of data engineering principles, including data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Knowledge of Generative AI models and their applications is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a keen analytical mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
• The capacity to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
